Because of this terrible COV-19 Pandemic, we have had to postpone our Bible Study meetings. We hope to continue our study of The Gospel of John as soon as the government and CDC restrictions are lifted. Keep an eye out for a message about when we will resume the study.
We are exploring the possibility of continuing the Bible Study using an online tool that is often used for meetings. If you are interested, let us know.

For this Bible Study, we are using Adam Hamilton’s book, John The Gospel of Light and Life. We started on March 4th and will be meeting on Wednesday evenings in the fellowship hall for a total of 6 weeks, excluding March 18th, when the fellowship hall will be in use for something else. We hope you will join us … the study is open to all. Books are available at the church for $10.00.
We are hosting a 6-week Bible Study based on Adam Hamilton’s book, “The Way: Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus.” Our pastor, Travis Summerlin, does a masterful job of conducting the Bible Studies, and we invite the entire community to attend. It’s sure to be an enlightening series. It will take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM in our Fellowship Hall.
Psalm 23 is my very favorite Bible Verse of all time. Whenever I hear it or read it, I become peaceful and content.
The musical group the Eagles might as well have been singing about God when they sang:
‘Cause I got a peaceful easy feelin’
And I know you won’t let me down
‘Cause I’m already standin’
On the ground.
I truly feel grounded when I think about the promises God has made to us, His children. How about you? What’s your favorite Bible Verse, and why?
