If you’ve spent any amount of time participating in Taylor’s many community affairs, then chances are you’ve already met some of us. Our members are proprietors of local businesses, educators and staff at local schools, volunteers with local charitable organizations, and otherwise active individuals working for the good of our city and its people.
We are a community of faith on a journey of self discovery in Christ. We do not see ourselves as a place for perfect people, but rather a place for people who know they’re broken. We don’t exist to judge others; we’re here to proclaim the Good News of God’s love in Jesus Christ. We don’t hope to save ourselves; we trust that Jesus has already done that for us out of the abundance of his love for us. And while we don’t have all the answers to all of life’s questions, we trust our Savior when he says, “Everyone who hears my message and has faith in the one who sent me has eternal life and will never be condemned. They have already gone from death to life” (John 5:24).
